[Debian-astro-maintainers] Bug#1023795: other issues

Hi,

We appreciate the work the Debian developers are doing. We use Debian
systems for astronomical/geophysical data acquisition.

We have noticed some other issues with giza support for pgperl:

1. Line widths are off by one, the default line width (1) is wider. Using
pgslw(0) gets the old default width, but the values are suppose to be 1-201.

2. The open circle plot symbols in the vicinity of 21 are not open circles,
they seem to be grey closed circles.

3. Requested spacing for tick marks is not respected.

4. The automatic spacing for tick marks is overly dense.

These issues make our results inconsistent between different Debian systems.

We hope these issues can be fixed, but it would be better to at least have
the option to use pgplot instead.

Thanks, Ed
