Hi Mechtilde and Thorsten,
The privacy breach warnings are just repeated instances of the same DOI
badge (SVG file) linked in the upstream `README.md`. I'm not sure why it
is flagged as a privacy breach in the first place to reference a
standard Zenodo badge URL. In any case, I have updated the supernovas
package on salsa (1.6.0-2) adding a patch to the `README.md` to skip the
badge image, and instead just provide a text link to it. That makes
lintian happier. I've also added another patch to skip installing the
duplicate `CHANGELOG.md`, which upstream installs into docdir by
default, but makes lintian complain about the duplicate changelog.
I think both are examples of lintian being a little over-zealous, but
the patches are simple, so it's fine by me. They just mean that the
debian package will need such patches for every future release also,
unless lintian decides to ease up on the ridiculous warnings.
Thorsten, please upload the updated package (1.6.0-2) from salsa:
