 * The KDE desktop profile for students/pupils.

== Activating translations and regional support ==

To activate a specific translation, boot using {{{locale=ll_CC.UTF-8}}} as a boot option, where ll_CC.UTF-8 is the locale name you want.  To activate a given keyboard layout, use the {{{keyb=KB}}} option where KB is the desired keyboard layout.  More information on this feature [[http://wiki.debian.org/DebianLive/l10n|is available from the live CD build script documentation]].  Here is a list of commonly used locale codes:

Not all locales have translations installed, though.  The keyboard layout names can be found in /usr/share/keymaps/i386/.
