      postinst: instead of testing with [ -x /usr/bin/etckeeper ] use "which etckeeper" and drop lintian.overrides for command-with-path-in-maintainer-script. Thanks lintian.
      release as 2.10.24

      Remove etc/samba/smbaddclient.pl from git (unused and not shipped since ages).
      Adjust Make file to reflect the cleanup changes.
      Document cleanup changes in debian/changelog.
