It  fails when I give git-buildpackage --git-pristine-tar

gbp tries to create orig.tar.gz from pristine-tar branch here and I
think you missed the orig string in tar ball while importing hence in
pristine-tar branch there is no orig.tar.gz.delta hence build fails.
Its probably working for you because you already have orig tar ball
hence gbp is not trying to create another one

gbp = git-buildpackage
