[Debian-ha-maintainers] What is the status of gfs2-tools?

Hello,
I've been having severe problems trying to get gfs2 (gfs2-tools
3.0.12.2) to work, hence my question:
Is this in fact a working, stable, production-worthy package?
The apt description says that the gfs2 kernel modules are highly
experimental, however it seems gfs has been part of Debian since at
least Lenny.
The usage.txt file that comes with the package suggest using a very
basic cluster.conf configuration, but that doesn't work at all for me.
I've tried various different combinations, even using ccs_tool to build
my cluster.conf, but to no avail.
I've had daemons get stuck (only killable with -9), umounts fail at
reboots, nodes that start fencing each other when joining the cluster,
etc, cman init script failing at both starting or stopping, etc.
So am I doing something horribly wrong, or should I just give up and
switch to RH/CentOS? :D
Thanks in advance,
Nils
