so i am new to this list but long time debian user (slink). we also use
ha features a lot (drbd, pacmaker).

i really would love to see a pacemaker in jessie.

i have been using pacmaker and jessie in test systems for a while.

as i see it:

pacemaker 1.1.10+git20130802-4.1
================================

  the pacemaker 1.1.10+git20130802-4.1 that was available till recently
  seems to work for me so far. the only show stopping issue is that i
  needed to get

  libqb0 version 0.17.0-2 that i had to get from sid and compile it on
  jessie.

  (there is an other issue where the crm shows me some resource definitions
   in XML format only after i had entered them in crm).

  are there any reasons libqb0 0.17 could not be in jessie?

when i tried to setup a new test system i found that pacemaker seems missing
all togther. so i tried to compile the old pacemaker from wheezy:

pacemaker_1.1.7-1
=================

   this failed to compile but with the patch from julien cristau:

    https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=701442

    https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?msg=14;filename=pacemaker-1.1.7-2.1-nmu.diff;att=1;bug=701442

   it compiles. (have not tested much there yet)

so maybe jessie could just ship with the older version of pacemaker?

mond.
