Package: cluster-glue
Version: 1.0.12-12
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
I just upgraded my corosync cluster to buster, and the stonith external helper /usr/lib/stonith/plugins/external/ibmrsa-telnet wasn't starting anymore :
Jun 26 12:02:16 nfs4-c external/ibmrsa-telnet[22786]: [22848]: ERROR: Exception raised: cannot use a string pattern on a bytes-like object
Jun 26 12:02:17 nfs4-c stonith: [22764]: WARN: external_status: 'ibmrsa-telnet status' failed with rc 1
Jun 26 12:02:17 nfs4-c stonith: [22764]: ERROR: external/ibmrsa-telnet device not accessible.
Jun 26 12:02:17 nfs4-c pacemaker-fenced[2062]: warning: stonith-nfs-a:22639 [ Performing: stonith -t external/ibmrsa-telnet -E -S ]
I changed the #!/usr/bin/python3 to #!/usr/bin/python2 and it works back.
Looks like it's not python3 ready.
Cheers
Pierre Dinh-van
