I had a brief look at this but will have to check it a lot deeper
still as my first attempts to play around were not successful.
While doing so, though, I noticed that on chapter 3 you are using a
xrefstyle incorrectly:
<xref linkend=\"tab-corresp\" xrefstyle=\"nopage\" />
Should be
<xref linkend=\"tab-corresp\" xrefstyle=\"select: nopage\" />

Did that in weblate. Also, Javier San Román finished the first
complete review of the book so a lot of mistakes were corrected there
as well. I think that it warrants a merge.

It is evidently a problem with latex or some step inbetween as only
references that are also a link to the corresponding section show the
issue while others don't. Well, I think we'll have to live with it for
the time being.
