It might be good that in future only fonts released as is (.TTF or
zip file) are used than ones extracted from exe's & that a changelog
or similar is maintained by the font developers for whats new.

ttf extension is for TrueType outlines,  OTF is used for
Type1/Postscript/CFF outlines. So font is to be named accordingly..
