Well, given that Vincent *is* the coordinator, please coordinate with
him first. I'm not very fond of giving a too wide commit access until
people have really proven they will really work on D-I.
Contrary to what has been said in this thread, you certainly do *not*
need an alioth account in order to get your hands on the current kn.po
files. However, your mails made me discover that, indeed,
http://d-i.alioth.debian.org/l10n-stats/ does *not* give access to the
very partial Kannada translations we have. And I found why, which I just
corrected.
So, indeed, in a few hours you'll be able to get those files from this
URL, as explained in the documentation.
