I think you meant kmail-compose and kmail-draft.
kmail-compose was created first. There the text was rendered crap.
Then I save the message, as it is, as a draft.
And then I open the draft message. That's what mahabharat-kmail-draft.jpeg is.
And bingo, the same text, is rendered perfectly.

The email format is plain text by default. I've just verified it.

And thanks Karunakar. The kmail-compose.jpeg weird rendering is because of
auto-spellcheck. Once spellcheck is disabled, the text is rendered perfect.

I had tested it on gnome-terminal. There the rendering was same, bad. As
you've mentioned, this could be because of the console font limitation.
In apps like gedit, rendering was perfect.
