Hi.
I am looking for a sponsor that reviews my vzlogger package and (if
appropriate) gives me Debian maintainers rights on it.
vzlogger is a tool to read and log measurements of a wide variety of
smart meters and sensors. It supports various commonly used protocols
such as s0, d0, sml, oms and others. It can write these data to an
Influxdb or forward them via MQTT.

The vzlogger project is currently building Debian packages as part of
its Github releases and will continue to do so at least until bookworm
is no longer a relevant target. The packaging is maintained (by me) in
the vzlogger vcs.
As a result only a small difference (a switch from native to quilt and
a different changelog) needs to maintained specifically for Debian.
See [1] for details.
Maintaining the Debian packaging as part of the iot team - which I
would otherwise suggest - does therefore not make much sense as long as
the project builds its own packages.
Sincerly,
Joachim
