Hello team,
Concerning this autorm bug, I was going to push a fixed package but I
stopped when I saw the license of the code.
the debian/copyright states that "License resembles W3C license, but
does not grant permission to distribute with modification."
Indeed, the license says this:
[...]Permission to use, copy, and distribute this software and its
documentation, without modification[...]
Which, if we want to respect the idea of the license, makes patches
forbidden.
There is another repository called ozw-admin [1] which has the same
functionnalities according to openzwave-controlpanel readme and using
the GPL v3 license. This program doesn't seem to be packaged in debian
I'm still using the openzwave library so I'm interested in keeping the
openzwave environment in debian alive.
My idea right now is to remove the package openzwave-controlpanel from
debian and add the package ozw-admin instead, hopefully before trixie
freeze.
Do you have other ideas or suggestions?
