fortunes-bg gives an "error" for these scripts. This happens for ages,
indeed, but I didn't care to report up to now.

That package has a "weird" layout:

bubulle at mykerinos:~/tmp/fortunes-bg-1.1> ls -l
total 156
-rw-rw-r-- 1 bubulle bubulle   421 Nov  9  2004 INSTALL
lrwxrwxrwx 1 bubulle bubulle     5 Jun  4 07:50 Makefile -> rules
drwxrwxr-x 2 bubulle bubulle  4096 Nov 30  2004 bg

-rw-rw-r-- 1 bubulle bubulle   632 Oct 20  2004 control
-rw-rw-r-- 1 bubulle bubulle 13776 Nov  9  2004 copyright
lrwxrwxrwx 1 bubulle bubulle     1 Jun  4 07:50 debian -> .
-rw-rw-r-- 1 bubulle bubulle 13448 Oct 21  2004 history
-rw-rw-r-- 1 bubulle bubulle 23569 Oct 19  2004 intauthors
-rw-rw-r-- 1 bubulle bubulle 20461 Oct 19  2004 intproverb
-rw-rw-r-- 1 bubulle bubulle  1654 Oct 21  2004 others
-rwxrwxr-x 1 bubulle bubulle  1182 Nov  9  2004 rules

I think that the script is confused by the debian/ directory being a
symlink on the current directory.
