Doh. The chckeout had been done on tye (i18n.debian.org) but has
neever been tried.

Doing so now gives:

debian-i18n at tye:/srv/i18n.debian.org/ddtss-numbers/git$ python ddtss-numbers.py 
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "ddtss-numbers.py", line 4, in <module>
    import urllib.request
ImportError: No module named request
