[debian-lan-devel] preparing an announcement

Hi all,

I think the Debian-LAN project has reached the state where it might
become interesting for a broader audience.  To make the Debian-LAN
project more wellknown, I would like to send some kind of annoncement
to some mailing lists.  I prepared a draft (as a starting point more
or less just the introduction of the Debian-LAN wiki pages) here:

Please contribute with your ideas and thoughts and add them.

If nothing unexpected turns up, I would send that to the listed
mailing lists at the end of the week.
