your commits look very good to me.

Please add yourself to debian/copyright and into the Uploaders field if you
feel that this is appropriate and what you want.

you do not need to be able to build the package to upload. You are a long-term
maintainer of other LEGO packages. I can easily give you DM upload privileges
for ldraw-parts-free as well and give you privileges into the packaging git
repos. Then you can let the salsa CI pipeline build the packages and if
everything succeeds do a sourceful upload.
