OK, I'm not familiar with these details and did not look at 
sequenceconverter.app at all.  What I said about the library still 
holds, though.

If it doesn't depend on it currently, it won't build-depend on 
libbiococoa-dev for the time being.

AFAIK libraries without reverse dependencies are not desirable in 
Debian, so it's good that there are such plans.
