This reminds me to the qiime - denoiser issue.  Currently qiime
conflicts the denoiser package which is outdated code according to
Tim.  I'd suggest to drop the outdated denoiser package at all and
let you decide from a user point of view whether splitting qiime
into two binary packages might make sense.
