[Debian-med-packaging] Packaging Ensembl for Debian

Dear Helpdesk,

I'm working with the maintainers of the Debian Med Linux project to create a Debian (and subsequently Bio Linux) package for Ensembl. Ensembl is, however, using an out-of-date version of libwww-perl which is causing the problems in packaging. Please see the following bug;

We would be grateful if you could confirm that;

1. You are aware that libwww-perl is outdated and,
2. An update or libwww-perl is/is not scheduled and,
3. If scheduled, and it's possible to forecast, a time estimate.
