[Debian-med-packaging] Neobio (Was: r8417 - trunk/packages/neobio/trunk/debian)

Hi Christoph,

I have noticed that you commited some files for neobio and I did some
changes in SVN - please check it out and read the logs.  Now I tried to
find the source for neobio.  Usually it is a good idea to maintain a
watch file to make life of others easier to download the source via
`uscan --force-download`.  If a watch file is not possible you should at
least provide a get-orig-source target in debian/rules (there are
examples in SVN where this usually is done by simply calling a
get-orig-source script).  I'd volunteer to write such a thing however,
I would like to know whether the source is really the file which
can be found here:

   http://sourceforge.net/projects/neobio/files/neobio/pre-alpha/

The fact that it is dated from 2003-09-29 and the directory is named
pre-alpha (I did not found any other directory) makes me a bit
suspicious what quality we can expect from such software.  Did I
missed an other location with a more recent download file?  You
used version 1 in the changelog file - so you might have found a
more recent version.  In case you are actually refering to this
pre-alpha non-versioned file you should use a version number like

   0.0.20030929  (release data with two leading 0 to have higher
                  version numbers once there are real releases)

Once I can be sure to work on the same source file as you I can
continue working on this.

BTW, You can not "Recommends: strap" because there is (not yet) such
a package.  It is OK to use "Suggests: strap".
