[Debian-med-packaging] would like some help getting started

I made some progress on compiling for i386
https://github.com/h4ck3rm1k3/fis-gtm
I had to copy some files from amd64 over and really what would be nice are
unit tests that we can even test the changes work.
I think that is what is really needed at this point more tests.
