Justification: renders package unusable

At least on i386, the shlib symlink doesn't end with version number:

$ dpkg -c libffindex0_0.9.9-1_i386.deb | grep -F .so.
-rw-r--r-- root/root     17920 2012-12-16 16:32 ./usr/lib/libffindex.so.1.0.1
lrwxrwxrwx root/root         0 2012-12-16 16:32 ./usr/lib/libffindex.so. -> libffindex.so.1.0.1

Perhaps it has something to do with this build-time[0] error:

/bin/sh: 1: bc: not found
