[Debian-med-packaging] Please clarify the license of prosite_scan (1994)

Dear Kay, dear licensing experts!

I am Laszlo Kajan from Burkhard Rost's bioinformatics group in Munich.

We use a version of your prosite_scan.pl [3]. The author (you) is mentioned in the script, but the licence is not. We would like to include this
script in a software package for Debian that contains open source protein sequence analysis tools.

* Could you please tell us if prosite_scan.pl can be released under a free license, for example like Perl?

I hope it is not covered under the restrictive PROSITE database license [1] as it is not distributed from [2].
