Hi Andreas,

it looks like the pristine-tar branch is not there.  In case you do not have
uncomitted changes in the repository, the simplest will be to delete
it and clone it again with the command:

  debcheckout --user <username> --git-track '*' <package>

I asked for --git-track='*' to be the default in #625940.  This would strongly
reduce cases where pristine-tar branches are missing.  Please support my
request in the bug report if you agree (otherwise, it looks like it will never
happen).
