I am Laszlo Kajan, a bioinformatician from Burkhard Rost's Bioinformatics Lab in Munich, Germany.
I am also a Debian Maintainer.
I would like to package concavity for Debian, and use it for my research.
According to Debian policy , libraries should be made available as shared libraries. I see that your GAPS library - used in concavity - was
indeed reused a couple of times (google: "gaps" library thomas funkhouser). Therefore let me ask you:
* Is there a release of the GAPS library on its own? - I found it bundled together with concavity. I also found it at . Do you do public
releases of this library?
If such release were available, I would like to package that, and link concavity dynamically, rather than statically with the library bundled
Thank you very much for the information and the help.
