Package: soapdenovo
Severity: normal

Hi Olivier,

I stumbled upon soapdenovo since on one hand there seems to be a watch
file that for whatever reason reports a new version if you look at

   http://blends.debian.org/med/tasks/bio#soapdenovo

(even if I have no idea why since the d/watch in SVN reports nothing).
On the other hand I realised that soapdenovo2 was missing from our tasks
files (and was just added).

When I inspected the homepage[1] I stumbled upon the information

"Please note that the old version of SOAPdenovo is out of maintainance
now, if you want to achieve the old version of SOAPdenovo, please
contact us (xieyl at genomics.cn or bgi-soap at googlegroups.com)."

For me this does not necessarily mean that we should drop the package
if there might be some users (popcon tells only one) but if we should
keep this package we should definitely update the information in
the package description + README.Debian.

Kind regards

      Andreas.
