itself contain some main source dir.) Do you see any chance to convince
upstream to deliver tarballs following the de-facto convention
<name-of-software>-<version-of-software>/<here_comes_the_code>
If upstream has strong reasons to keep the tarball that way in principle
dpkg-buildpackage can also cope with this (as far as I know - I never
had to deal with this) - you just need to unpack once in a proper dir.
