That would be perfectly fine.  However, I'm afraid that the patch needs
to be adapted to new upstream I just uploaded (sorry if this might
duplicate your work - but we just had a newer version in the repository
than your patch was addressing).  From my perspective it would be
perfectly fine if you commit to the repository.

I'm keen on beeing faster with the upload than this te enable a smooth
migration.
