Hi Andreas,

for R packages, the semantics of the DESCRIPTION files are slightly different
from Debian's source control files: the Suggests field is used to document the
packages needed for the regression tests (which are not only the unit tests,
but also the example code in each manual page).  Because these tests are not
run at build time, these apparent cross-dependancies are not a problem.  In
Debian, I think the best way would be to run them through Autopkgtest, otherwise
our build-dependency graph may become too dense.
