Dear Gordon,
Debian was used in a systematic screen for software crashes, and there were two
hits for FASTX-Toolkit, which are reported at the URLs below. Perhaps you will
find them useful.
- http://bugs.debian.org/715887
- http://bugs.debian.org/715888
By the way, in a separate report, we were informed that the config.{sub,guess}
files of FASTX-Toolkit were too old for building it on 64-bit ARM processors.
While Debian has its own way to update these files independantly, it may be
usefult to update FASTX-Toolkit on your side if you would like to help people
using it on 64-bit ARM platforms (we know at least one project that will use
ARM in a bioinformatic course, although I have not figured out if it will be 32
or 64 bits).
PS: I guess this also applies to libgtextutils.
Have a nice day,
