tags 721493 pending thanks Technically this B-D is not required since: $ apt-cache show libgeotiff-dev | grep Depends Depends: libgeotiff2 (= 1.3.0+dfsg-3.1), libtiff5-alt-dev I will simply remove libtiff5-dev | libtiff-dev from d/control and rely simply on libgeotiff-dev to pull in proper tiff ABI. thanks
