Package: biomaj
Version: 1.2.2-1
Severity: serious
User: debian-qa at lists.debian.org
Usertags: piuparts

Hi,

during a test with piuparts I noticed your package failed to install. As
per definition of the release team this makes the package too buggy for
a release, thus the severity.

>From the attached log (scroll to the bottom...):

debconf: delaying package configuration, since apt-utils is not installed

   ***************************************************************************************
Before running the migration, please check that database configuration is correctly set
and that the database schema and user are correctly created.
To upgrade the database, the script must be run with the following arguments:
For a first install, all arguments are mandatory, for an upgrade, only some parameters are required.
    - First install: [ -dbuser DBUSER -dbpwd DBPASSWORD -dbhost DBHOST -db (mysql|hsql)]
    - From v1.1 : [ -admin LOGIN -adminpwd PASSWORD -adminemail ADMINEMAIL]

To get the current version, execute: biomaj --version
  dpkg: error processing biomaj (--configure):
subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 2
  Errors were encountered while processing:
   biomaj

piuparts tests are run with DEBIAN_FRONTEND=oninteractive, so no debconf
questions will be asked and the defaults are used.

A mysql database server was running inside the chroot where the test was performed.

cheers,

Andreas
