Hi,

I'm just forwarding the message I added to the webform
of VarScan authors to the list for possibly further
reference.

Subject: VarScan: Patch and license choice

Message:
Hi Dan,
I'm writing you on behalf of the Debian Med project that tries to inject all free software which is relevant in medicine and biology in to main Debian. We also like to include VarScan and when doing the packaging work we found a small patch you might be interested in:
http://genome.wustl.edu/people/individual/dan-koboldt/

Moreover there is some concern about the NPOSL-3.0 license raised on Debian mailing list. I wonder whether we could discuss this via e-mail on a mailing list rather then via this contact webform.

Kind regards
     Andreas.
