Thanks for the clarification which is helpful to draw a reasonable
decision whether we can keep the package or not.

César, if you would be willing to spent some time into the packaging for
Debian while we would be happy to help you in packaging questions we
would consider keeping the package inside Debian.  Otherwise I'm afraid
that we need to drop it from the Debian mirrors.
