I just rebuild the package unchanged with gcc-4.8 and it worked without
problem.

I would actually be fine with gcc-4.8 as default on powerpcspe now. Many
packages need it anyway, e.g. when linking with gcc-4.8 related libs.

Matthias, can you please consider gcc-4.8 as default for powerpspe?
