Hi Andreas,
the symbols file in sra-sdk is quite superfluous and I added it mostly for my
self-training; I am sorry that it wasted your time.
But note that, in general, symbols files are particularly useful when packaging
C libraries that are broadly used, and are much less useful with C++.
Please feel free to delete it in sra-sdk and in packages that have similar
characteristics (C++, few or no reverse-dependancy on the libraries they
provide).
