somebody who never was a friend of these canonical URLs this feels like
ages). Since you want non-annonymous anyway please try
svn checkout svn+ssh://svn.debian.org/svn/debian-med/trunk/packages/python-biom-format/trunk/
If alioth admins will not manage to fix the problem in decent time frame
I consider filing a bug report against lintian which recommends broken
URLs. :-(
