amount of changes from 0.8.4 to 0.8.6 seems to be miniscule and just a
bug fix so we could demand unblock for this one

$> git diff v0.8.4..v0.8.6 --stat
 MANIFEST.in              | 5 +++++
 doc/source/whats_new.rst | 2 +-
 mne/__init__.py          | 2 +-
 mne/coreg.py             | 3 ++-

so I think it would be safe to push this patch on top of the 0.8.6 ... but why
is it failing now that it wasn't failing before?  may be they better be
actually fixed? (sorry -- busy atm, can't look in detail)
