Hi Don,

I (or any other packager quicker than me) will investigate this for the next
update of the package.

Update to version 2.4.x has been delayed because the source tarball is not
distributed on the NCBI's website.  It is now on GitHub but there has been
a gap.

If you have time, and if it is till relevant to version 2.4.2-3, maybe you can
also make your suggestion in Upstream's tracker ?
