[Debian-med-packaging] broken package removal for some architectures

Hi all,

just wanting to quickly confirm: if I find out that a package does not work as intended on a target architecture (here sparc64 due to memory alignment issues) and upstream is unlikely to work these out, it is OK to just remove this arch in the control file, upload a new version and then request the removal of the broken old debs for this arch from the archive?

That’s what I have seen was done for the recent HMMER issue but since I have encountered such a case myself now I just wanted to check this is the usual way to go.

Cheers
Sascha
