Hmmmm, actually I only *intended* to switch on the tests but current
inspection showed that I have deactivated dh_auto_tests again since
several tests failed. The assumption that biologists file bug reports
right after they realised a problem is simply wrong. :-(

Since I now realised that some work was left on this package anyway
I just found an intermediate solution by running at least those tests
that do not fail and also cared about arch-dependant bwa inclusion.

I used your excuse (went well in the past 5 years) to not dig deeper
into the failed tests which has kept me busy several weeks before my
last upload and delay the remaining problems for the future ... Most
probably the tests are failing due to interface changes in the tools
used and switching them on for the tools that are OK now will at least
raise a signal for further build-attempts.

YOu are welcome
