Hi Andreas,

I have a business trip next week and unfortunately I am crushed under my
workload this week.  I hope to follow up some time after I return.

For the MIPS patch, can the submitter foward it upstream one way or the other ?
In my experience, it is way better when porters advocate themselves the need
for porting.  On my side, I do not know if bedtools is used on MIPS and
therefore if I should bother the upstream developers or not.  On the other
hand, if we introduce bugs with such patches, we will destroy the trust between
us and our non-MIPS users.
