I'm aware that latest upstream is 0.4.0 but it requires numpy 1.9.2
which is only in experimental. I pinged Python Modules team and have
got confirmation that an upload to unstable will follow soon. I guess
this will happen before python-skbio will pass the new queue and then we
could upgrade straigth to the latest upstream version - at least this
was my intention.
I'd be very happy if you would take over the work on this package. I'm
fine with moving the packaging to Git which you might prefer. So lets
see what happens in new and continue from there.
Thanks for your offer to help which is really welcome. My current
pace will be delayed from next week on - so any helping hand will
be needed.
Kind regards
Andreas,
