fresh cython (0.23.2+git16-ga8fbae1-1) would lead to those FTBFS of
versions in jessie:

kivy_1.8.0+dfsg-2.1.dsc
pycangjie_1.2-1.dsc
pytables_3.1.1-3.dsc
python-biom-format_2.1+dfsg-1.dsc
python-djvulibre_0.3.9-3.dsc
python-libdiscid_0.4.1-2.dsc
python-sfml_1.5.1.is.1.3+dfsg-1.dsc
scikit-learn_0.14.1-3.dsc

well, given that backport's priority iirc is lower that stock jessie,
maybe it wouldn't hurt as badly
