Source: picard-tools
Severity: wishlist

  Hi,

I've been asked to install in a lab the last version of picard-tools.
Seing it's already packaged in Debian, I was very pleased. But I discovered
that the lattest version are not packaged. Moreover, uscan does not
detect the new versions!
Looking more closely, I see that upstream move from sourceforge to
github and reorganized its sources. See the details here:
http://sourceforge.net/p/samtools/mailman/message/32282849/

Do you plan to try to update picard-tools? (last upstream version is
1.138, currently packaged version is 1.113, the last one on sourceforge)

Do you want I try to help you to package the new version? It will probably
involve creating a new source package (htsjdk) along picard-tools.

  Regards,
    Vincent
