Package: imagej
Version: 1.50d+dfsg-1
Severity: important
Tags: patch

Dear Maintainer,

After installing openjdk-8 alongside openjdk-7 (as part of apt-get dist-upgrade), imagej no longer starts with the following error:

  $ imagej
  Open other images in this ImageJ panel as follows:
    imagej -p 1 <image1> [<image2> ... <imageN>]

  No JVM found to run ImageJ
  Please apt-get install a JVM to run ImageJ or
  set JAVA_HOME if it's not a JVM from a Debian Package.

The attached patch resolves the issue for me, though I have not confirmed whether it works in the old situation (only openjdk-7 installed).

Please let me know if I can be more useful.

Best wishes,
Kai
