fitgcp's dependency of python-pysam had an RC bug that was fixed in its latest upstream release.
That release currently does not build on the named architectures, and testing migration is stalled for python-pysam and all its reverse-dependencies until it can be built on i386.
It is nonsensical to hold all these packages hostage on every other architecture because of this problem.

python-pysam cannot be removed from i386 unless fitgcp is removed first, as I was informed in #818063.
