Hello,
here is how I investigated the build failure:
* Search for "failed to create task or type foreach. Cause: The name is
undefined."
*
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/2608935/troubleshooting-failed-to-create-task-or-type-foreach-when-using-foreach
* Is ant-contrib listed in Build-Depends: yes
* Are the patches correct? yes/maybe
* Check ant-contrib:
https://packages.debian.org/sid/all/ant-contrib/filelist
Apparently there is no jar in /usr/share/ant/lib/ant-contrib.jar anymore.
Was the package updated recently? yes
Bug was possibly introduced by
https://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/pkg-java/ant-contrib.git/commit/?id=34cc27388e0335635142cb9753e92bfd8558072d
Solution:
for ant-contrib: Install the jar to usr/share/ant/lib/ant-contrib.jar again.
for alter-sequence-alignment:
Update use_debian_packaged_jar.patch and change the path for
ant-contrib.jar to /usr/share/java/ant-contrib.jar
Emmanuel will probably chime in here. I suggest to wait until then.
Regards,
Markus
